Crypto Hub's ambitions can be set in New York for uncertainty after the mayor of New York City Eric Adams came out of an attempt to re -election on Sunday.
In a video on Sunday on Sunday, Adams was killed by financial conflicts resulting from the issue of rejected federal bribery and withholding public funds.
“Despite everything we have achieved, I cannot continue my campaign to re -election,” he said, before adding that “the ongoing media speculation about my future and the campaign to finance the campaign to block millions of dollars has undermined my ability to raise the money necessary for a serious campaign.”
Adams initially won his position in 2022 over the public safety platform while the epidemic was recovered, and it was credited with reducing crime and strengthening the economy. However, his association with various scandals was seen as a continuous responsibility.
The mayor said before adding: “Although this is the end of my campaign to re -elect it, it is not the end of my public service,” before I add, “I will continue to fight for this city.”

Big Apple defender
In May, Adams spoke at a press conference to announce that New York City was “open to work” for encryption companies.
Later in the same month, he said he would create a digital council to attract jobs and invest to Big Apple and put them as “the world of encryption in the world.”
He said at that time: “The era of the distinctive symbol, which includes encryption, Blockchain and other extreme technology innovations, this age here, and we will continue to move forward with it.”

He also called for the launch of the Bitcoin Association in the city and the renewal of calls for the strict Bitlicense program at AX New York.
However, New York City Observer Brad Lander rejected the proposal, claiming that he was “lawless and incapable.”
There are no pro -quarter alternatives
Adams, who is currently voting in fourth place, faced increasing pressure from business leaders who also oppose the candidates for Zahran Mamdani, a member of the Social Democratic Society.
Mamdani has not yet clarified his position on encryption, but it seems that the industry is concerned that its gradual/socialist approach may be unsound for the digital asset industry.
Democratic Andrew Como is second in the race and has a mixed but more organizational approach in encryption. Cuomo previously worked as a paid consultant to exchange Crypto OKX because he dealt with a federal investigation.
Adams previously criticized the former ruler Komo, saying that under his ruler, New York State dismantled the “encryption industry”.
Mamdani currently leads Cuomo by 84.6 % to 14.4 %, according to the Polymarkket platform. New York City is scheduled to be held in the municipal elections on November 4, 2025. Adams will continue to work as a mayor until he takes office on January 1, 2026.
