Timing Milan Kovak, Vice President of Optimus Robotics, said on Friday that he would leave the company.

In a post on X, Kovac thanked the CEO of Tesla Elus Musk and reminded him of his term, which started in 2016.

“I would like to thank Elonmusk from below my heart for his confidence and teachings throughout the contract in which we worked together,” Kovak wrote. “Elon, you taught me to distinguish a sign of noise, hardline flexibility, and many basic principles of engineering. I’m grateful forever. Tesla will win, guarantee you.”

Tesla is developing Optimus, with the aim of selling it one day, smart and smart, capable of everything from the factory’s work to sitting children.

On the roof of the shareholders in the first quarter, Tesla said he was on the goal of “building Optius on the Fremont Pilot production line in 2025, with the spread of broader robots that do useful work through our factories.”

During the 2024 annual shareholders meeting in Tesla, Musk described itself as “satisfactory optimistic”, then claimed that human robots would raise the maximum of the company’s market to $ 25 trillion in an unlimited future history.

In recent weeks, Musk David Faber told CNBC that Tesla has now trained Optimus systems to do “primitive tasks”, such as picking up things, opening the door or throwing the ball.

Among the competitors in space Boston dynamics, fitness robots, Apptronik, 1X and shape.

Kovac had previously worked as Autopilot Prognams Engineering. He rose to lead the company’s Optimus unit as vice president in 2022.

Musk personally thanked Kovac for his “distinguished contributions” to work.

Tesla did not respond to a request for comment.
